We've had countless of happy players since, and we're not afraid to celebrate a little with you. To mark the occasion, we're giving away 500 RAD Bux to 5 lucky, random posters. Latest RAD Soldiers iOS Update Adds Loot Crates, Missions

We've just released a new update for the iOS version of RAD Soldiers. The two biggest additions in this update are the Loot Crates from the Chrome Web Store version, along with a new, free Challenge Pack creatively titled 'Party Hardest'.

Loot Crates will spawn randomly during single player missions. If you manage to pick one up and win the mission, you'll get to open the Crate. Each crate contains a random reward, which can be anything from a weapon or an outfit all the to a full-blown Soldier.

RAD Soldiers: Party in Rio - a first look at our biggest update yet!

Howdy, RAD Soldiers players. You've been absolutely fantastic - playing for absolutely staggering amounts of time, crafting all kinds of bonkers strategies, posting hugely positive reviews in the App Store, and, best of all, giving us tons of great feedback via email, the forums, and social media.

Over the past few months, we’ve been hard at work on a huge update for the game, incorporating many of your suggestions and a few of our own. We’ve added a brand-new location, a completely redesigned single player experience, new missions, maps, Soldiers and weapons, a huge balancing update, and countless smaller improvements. Best of all, this update will be a free download.

In this blog update, we’d like to give you an early look at what you can expect from Party in Rio. Read on for all the explosive/intense/sun-baked details!

Sneak Peek: RAD Soldiers Balancing Changes

We've been keeping a close eye on your balancing feedback over the past few weeks, and we've also been monitoring how people are playing the game - what soldiers see combat, which ones usually stay home, and which ones have a hard time getting recruited in the first place.

We've put together a whole stack of balance changes to address a lot of what we have (or haven't) seen since the game launched. We’re now play-testing these and will roll them out in the next update.

While these tweaks are still subject to change, we wanted to give you an early look at what we've got in mind so that you can see what's coming and give us some early feedback.

A Message from Paul Wedgwood

Last year we promised that we'd start our second decade with the same degree of enthusiasm as our first. We did just that! We self-published with WarChest, we launched RAD Soldiers for mobile, we created Fireteam.net's online services suite, announced our entirely self-funded PC-shooter Dirty Bomb, and we expanded Splash Damage's talented development team.
